The Oriental Ceramic Society of the Philippines (OCSP) was founded by early collectors and scholars of ceramics in 1980.
Our primary aim is the study of Chinese and Southeast Asian TRADE WARE found in the Philippines.
The OCSP studies information & disseminates knowledge to its membership, interested persons, and the public
We invite local and foreign ceramic specialists to speak at meetings.
We organize visits to private collections and museums.
We encourage local and international archaeologists to share their research.
We mount exhibitions and publish catalogs.
Through these activities, we can exchange important information. We have had notable archaeologists visit collections for their research.
With our partners, the Society plays a very important role in public spaces that lack the resources to display, share, and document for a broader audience.
