With so much interest and enthusiasm unfolding, Roy Baughman, Karen Bentley, Josefina P. Manahan, Luisa A. Pedrosa, Erlinda E. Panlilio, Connie C. Pascal, Regina R. Paterno, Birgit Woolcott met as a group for the first time in late 1979. This group conceptualized the structure of the organization and its purpose.

Since then, OCSP members have been gathering regularly for meetings.
